Mine sounds like poker chips in the passenger dashboard/door area. Driving me f***ing nuts. Dealer is getting a call this week.

If your dealer can't fix it take a look at this DIY thread: it took me about 90 minutes and completely fixed it for me!

same problem on my 2013 g37x sedan

same **** here...it is really annoying. The problem is exacerbated in cold weather. In warmer weather (70 deg F and above) it ceases to exist. I really don't get it. The engine is rather large and creates all kinds of vibrations, perhaps it just knocks things loose over time??? I really don't want to return my lease just because of a stupid rattle!!!!

I have taken it to the dealer several times too but they claim "we cant reproduce it".

OP this might sound crazy but try removing everything from the sunglasses storage (by the rear view) and the compartment above the shift ****. Every time I have sunglasses in that storage container I get all kinds of strange noise coming from every which direction.

EDIT sorry i realize this post is super old but the problem is still very real!!!
