That makes absolutely no sense. Of course not.

Yeah... and all those new electronically controlled transmissions, navigation screens, HD music storage, CD drives, automatic sunroofs/windows/mirrors. Just too much new technology to ever be reliable!

It may not be a reliability issue, but cost of ownership/repairs out of warranty should be something to at least consider. Hopefully the added weight is low enough not to grossly affect the handling of the car. I would be more intrested in seeing how, if at all, the driving dynamics of the car change in relation to throttle response and control. Havn't driven the M35h but imagine it would be comparable. There is more to the driving experience than sheer numbers on a spec sheet and acceleration. (thus so many people in an uproar about their not being a manual option)

Augmented, maybe. Or Torque-Assisted.

OK, those are dumb, But anything else, really.
Ha, good call on 'Augmented'. Infiniti actually used it on their site...

"Yours To Choose - The exhilarating performance of Infiniti's 3.7-liter 24-valve V6 engine is exceeded by only one thing - the power of the 3.5 liter, 6-cylinder lithium-ion battery augmented hybrid. Yes, hybrid. The perfect balance of speed and efficiency."

I must say, there is a new confidence in some of the market language I am reading on the site.

They have had the car on the Nurburgring... I am sure they tested it.

Sure, but the test driver isn't likely to say anything to us about how that went!

Couldn't get the image in, but the back end is similar to Kia Optima. Have to see the new model in person. With all the tech in this car, price is going up for their entry car. Had an 09 TL AWD, for the money, I may go back to a TL. My G definitely has the power and speed, but I like the size of the TL.

No worse than how they've somehow managed to keep reliability at a good place despite all the new technology they've added over the years.

HD Radio | What is HD Radio? | More Music. More Stations. More Features. Digital Sound. No Subscription.

Short story, it's the radio equivalent of HDTV.

Amazing what they can do with cars these days but can't seem to come up w/ a paint process that keeps the paint on the car If the Q has paint that won't chip if you look at it the wrong way I may sign up. I know, I know, all new auto paint pretty much blows, but Infiniti is the worst I've seen the last 5 years of owning them.

I wouldn't Care about the "signature Clock".... I want the Signature Auto Tranny. One that doesn't exhibit the quirkiness that my 2010 G37X 7AT does... A Little more room and storage would be a nice addition too....

I suspect the problem is a Nissan-thing, and not just Infiniti, because after owning 3 new Nissans, I would make the same gripe.

Also... you own a black car. That doesn't mean it chips any easier, but it does mean the chips scream at you for attention every time you look at the car, much more so than other colors.

Lastly, keep a more-than-reasonable distance between you and the cars in front of you on the highway. While that's good advice for a number of reasons, it's not always practical... I get that. Most major metropolitan areas are a battle-zone for highway dominance. Fortunately here in Rochester, it's not so bad.

IMHO, it's an industry-wide issue. Check every forum out there and they all complain about chips. It's a side-effect of using less toxic paint these days (i.e. no more lead.)

It's getting better, at least.
