True? this Audi guy really had injected something MB/BMW style into Japanese business. 1st for an Infiniti.
This is definitely a good read imo. I'm excited for people to start getting a hold of these cars to start doing reviews on them.

I read somewhere that they have leatherette standard and leather is optional.

^^^ You read it right. Looks like LED headlights are the new trend.
The 2014 Infiniti Q50 is equipped with standard LED headlights, LED side marker lights, and LED taillights.

Interesting.....a good way for Infiniti to increase average transaction price without increasing the base sticker price.

I just caught the part about run flat tires. This was one of the major reasons I went for a G over a 335 ... at least back in 2009, most people I knew with 328's and 330's absolutely hated the run flats and they ended up spending a lot on replacing flat tires that couldn't be repaired, etc. Has something changed, some major technology improvement in run flats?

kaoticdemize - Any idea why they killed the manual just when manuals are becoming more popular in the US?

I haven't had people ask for non moon roof yet. How ever I had a few people feel offended when they ask if they can get a manual awd and I tell them they don't make it. They act like I just insulted ther great aunt Betty. Granded most people that ask for the manual are not serious buyers or just want a free test drive.

^^These test drives often plant seeds that develop into purchases down the line. One such test drive deterred me from a particular car. I later test drove the same car (wrx sti) at a different dealership - this was after already owning the G. The 2nd test drive revealed more of the car's potential. If I were in the same situation, the wrx would be a serious consideration.

My first G test drive was on a whim too. Never seriously considered one, but it left an impression. A month later I ordered one.

As a sales person, while you have some perception, you never really know the buyer's true intentions up front.

Iam willing to bet that the price will go down rather up. As time goes on, technology gets cheaper and now the base model or whatever they call it now has leatherette. But I also bet a fully loaded Q50 will cost more than a loaded g37. (3.7 only)
