I have my new car for almost four months and wanted some advice on how to get rid of the rubber smell when you roll down the windows.

I am not a fan of AC so I prefer to roll down the window for some fresh air but when I do, there's a very strong rubber and plastic smell. Is there some type of soap or cleaner I can use to wipe the rubber along the windows to get rid of this smell?

 

Thats strange. Have it checked by the dealer?
i remember audi's having that problem so bad that the strips would melt onto the windows in the summer 0.o

 

don't have that problem. don't have that in the audi either.
