I'm going to try the VLED switchbacks because of the built in resistor, but confused about 5000k or 6000k. I have the DD 5000k HID fog lights, and I ordered the 5000k DD headlight and city light bulbs as you suggested. I'd like the color to match and from the another post, it sounds like 6000k is the answer.

Also wondering if for the sedan, do I need the standard or "CK" base?
I have everything from Diode Dynamics. The switchbacks, IIRC, are 6000k along with every other exterior and interior light. My fog lights are Morimoto XB LEDs with yellow Lamin-X. I haven't switched out my headlight HIDs just yet but will eventually switch to Osram.

Yeah I've read quite a bit on here about Osram headlight bulbs. Are they really THAT much better? That's a steep price for bulbs...

I'm with everyone else. This G looks awesome especially being on stock 17s. I think it's the fact we know it's running Mickey Thompsons.

That fat tire look is actually nice. What size tires are those MT's?

I bet Fall would be even better to go, although the scenery of the color changes might distract me from the road lol.

On a side note, the Dragon showed me that I need better pads. I'm running Hawk HPS 5.0 pads and they were not confidence inspiring. However, I was impressed (and surprised) with the grip my Conti ExtremeContact DWS 06 all seasons provided.
Damn! You must have been pushing it haha. I just like to cruise to the point where I'm not being hard on the brakes. I have centric posi quite pads so I'm sure they would do worse than your Hawks lol.

That was a good idea to stop on your way back sounds like a pretty fun weekend!

When done right, anything can look good. Compare that to what COULD have turned out.... a rattle can job of matte dip on stock height

Very well executed for a stock wheel, and the stance is perfect!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way. Those are really, really, great tires. I love mine...plus they work in our winter quite well. I use them as my non-summers.

Got them from Diode Dynamics and decided to go with 5000k to match the factory headlight color/temp. But now that they're on, I'm feeling like the are more white than the headlights now. Or maybe the yellow running lights/turn signals are making the headlights more yellow looking?

Does anyone have any suggestions for headlight bulbs that will be whiter than stock? And please tell me that I don't have to take the bumper off again to swap the headlight bulbs!

I'm running 5K LED city lights and 5K Osram CBI bulbs. The Osram 5K bulbs are a huge improvement over the OEM bulbs IMO. I also ended up going with the VLED V3 Triton switchbacks in 6K and have been very happy with my choice. I've heard that the 5K VLED switchbacks are a bit on the yellow side, so I went for the 6K instead and think they match the other 5K bulbs really closely.

That looks really good! Did you connect the dimmer feature? I emailed VLED and they said the switchbacks have a dimmer option that limits the light output to 10% of max on the white turn signals when the headlights are on. Just curious if this picture you posted is with those dimmed or at full strength?
