Been working on editing and composing my light painting attempt from this past weekend. I've gotten a lot of advice and have made 3 entirely different edits now.
I put them together in an animation and thought I'd share.
Well, I finally have some decent pics of my car cleaned up on the winter wheels/tires and Tein coilovers. You can see the rest of the mods on my build thread.
How are your tires wearing with that much negative camber in the back? Any cupping? How much camber do you run up front?
Fronts are -1.1 and -1.7... uneven because there's no camber kit in the front, and that's where they ended up after dropped on Swifts.
Rears are -2.2 and -2.3, with the SPC kit and Tein Basis coilovers.
Tires are wearing evenly, to my surprise, and no argument from me. Which is a good thing, because these Michelin PSS are ridiculously expensive. Worth every penny... but such a pretty penny.
the PSS don't last. I got like 15k on my last 2 sets
That sounds about right. I'm expecting 15K out of my rears, and maybe 20k out of my fronts.
Since I only put about 5k miles a year on the car, it's all good. But if I were to drive a normal number of annual miles, I'd probably look for alternatives too.
You are getting great tire wear with that camber set-up. I daily drove my G and my tires would not last me 6 months. Plus I had more negative camber in the front and rear with no camber plates and being 25.5" from fender to floor. Not complaining at all because I loved my stance. Got to pay to play.

I'd be ecstatic if I could get 15K out of a set of tires... I currently have just under 5K on my Bridgestone S001's and they're already down to around 3/32" - 1/8" of tread depth left in the rear, so almost to the warning marks. The tread is worn perfectly evenly, but they almost look like slicks now. Thankfully we don't get much rain here in SoCal!
Wanting to go with 315/25R20's for my next set, but can't find anyone that makes this size. Would love to set up to 325/25R20 PSS's, but I'd need to find wider wheel barrels for my Volks, which hasn't been easy to do so far.
