Also, do you have any pics of your "normal" ride height?

I have to agree with Epiphany. That chrome finisher is really out of place with the Stillen spoiler. IMO it looks much better with it painted to match. I had mine painted back when I was running this same spoiler.

That chrome piece on the trunk is the biggest nuisance in the world... it looks funky when left chrome and equally funky when color matched, since you can still tell it's a separate piece. The only way it looks good is if it's matched to a black car, where you can't really tell. I'm glad I covered mine up completely with a lip spoiler.

As long as you keep the chrome badging I think that strip looks like it belongs, and w/ the rest of your silver trim/wheels, etc it's got good continuity. Would look even better back there w/ just the Infiniti logo (in my humble opinion) but your G is looking tight!

That looks so-o-o much better, painted body color like this.

If I didn't have the OEM spoiler, I would have exactly this. Well, badges would be different, but the lip and spoiler... looks great this way.

Nice call! Definitely looks best with the chrome finisher piece completely covered up! I had my Carbon Signal spoiler completely molded into the trunk for this reason.

Thanks, John! That set-up (spoiler, diffuser, wheels/tires, etc..) was probably my favorite set-up for the G. Definitely much cleaner and understated than my current set-up. I sometimes curse myself for not having the will power to just stop changing things. Oh well... at least I haven't gotten bored with the car even after almost 10 years with it.

That picture says it all.

...unless he tinted those lenses.

Got it from a friend but if you are handy or have a good body shop they could do it for you. There's a diy guide on this site I believe.

I personally am in the opinion of blnewt and 93... I think it looks worse with multiple paint matched pieces than the chrome piece with chrome trim on the car.

I will say that one solid spoiler covering the trim would look much better, however I don't have a backup cam and have yet to see a spoiler that covers the trim without a hole for the backup cam

BTW 2G love the full finished ducktail with black trim that would be my go to if it was in the budget haha

Yup. That pic was taken when I first installed the JDM tails. The difference in the shade of the red reflector was much more prominent back when they were first installed, but they seem to be a closer match now that they have been on the car for a while. There's still a slight difference but I think maybe the JDM tails have faded a bit and seem to be a closer match to the OEM trunk lights. Incidentally when I first had my car repaired a couple years ago they replaced my right rear taillight with a brand new OEM unit (non JDM) and it was also a different shade of red than the OEM trunk lights. So either Nissan/Infiniti uses a couple of different suppliers for those parts or the red reflectors fade a bit over time causing the difference. Don't know?

Nope, no tint. Just a slight variation in the red reflector color like the93owner said. Although I do plan to add halo rings and black out the internal reflectors on my OEM tailights when I have the time to cut them apart.

the93owner did it right by replacing the backup lenses, too.

Smart move. He must have done his homework on this mod.

Thanks, Mkh! Much appreciated! I wasn't a big fan of the unfinished spoiler look either, so that's why I had it all molded together. I wouldn't have had it done though if the car hadn't been in the body shop for repair work and they needed to repaint the entire rear end of the car anyway, so it only ended up costing me an additional $350 for the extra work.

Yep, I knew that they were a different shade than the US version. The JDM tail lights aren't typically sold as a complete set with the reverse lights. When I was shopping around I thought about maybe just tinting the reverse lights separately, but I didn't want them to end up different in case I couldn't get it exactly right. So when I saw a complete set for sale, I had to scoop them up
