it's a brand new car - you're breaking it in. drive it the way you will for the remaining duration of the cars life. city driving kills gas mileage, especially on our cars. you didn't buy a hybrid

I live in Brooklyn too. Thought mine was broken too. Nope, wasn't. Taking it easy gets me 10-12mpg. Rolling downhill for 1/4 mile gets me 14mpg

Someone else said let it break in,.There right,. I was getting 12-11 when I first got my car, Now I get 16 or a little over MPG 90% city driving..

Mine did not improve much. Maybe by 1MPG in the city, not more
