Okay, I know my G35 is a few tenths of a liter short, but hoping you guys can help me out. I've been getting lots of help from the G35 guys, but hoping you can confirm a few things.

First of all, my wife rear ended someone and smash my front end (I have a sedan). Gotta replace both fendors, hood, bumper, pass headlight, etc. So I figure it conversion time!!

From what I'm reading, I can convert my 07 sedan to the 10 sedan with lno problem; everything bolts on. I just need the following:

2010 sport bumper
2010 headlights
2010 bumper absorber
2010 bumper grills
2010 fog lights
2010 windshield washer tank

Is that it? Does anyone have part numbers to confirm I get the right parts?

Lastly, I've been reading that if you get the sport package with the 2011, that it includes "unique" headlights. does anyone know what that means and have a picture? do you know if it will bolt on to my 07 like the 2010 will? can i just get all 2011 stuff (bumpers, grill, etc.)?

My car is at the bodyshop as we speak being dissassembled. Any help you guys can provide would be much appreciated.

Everything bolts up directly. I'm pretty sure all 011 sedan headlights are the same (but different from previous year model), sport has fogs in the bumper.

 

i think u need to replaced the radiator support, check on that too

 

you should do a search on the forum...theres atleast 2 threads that will explain everything you need and everything you need to do.

 

aren't the fenders molded differently per the older styling headlight housings? i could've sworn they were...but despite, you'll be wiring harnesses for the fogs, etc. as well

All you'll need is like you mentioned, 2010 or 11. If you need a price quote on parts, let me know and I can possibly do a package for you, compare it to your quote whether its from the dealer or online with our quote and choose what you want to go with.

Sport bumper
Headlights
Bumper absorber
Bumper grills (left, center, right)
Fog Lights
Fog Light Rings
Windshield washer tank
Rubber molding on top of the bumper where the clips go - you can reuse your old strip if you take it off, remove all the double sided tape and get new tape to reattach it to the new bumper.

Depending on how bad the damage is... you might need the 2 brackets that mount the bumper to the fender above the headlight
