easier to have people in the car, trunk space, and they wanted a lot more money for the coupe when I went shopping.

 

Coupe is just as ugly as the sedan is.. Looks are purely opinion.

So the important thing to note is that selecting the sedan isn't always about being practical. It was a necessity for me but the benefit was lighter, cheaper, and faster! Since looks are a personal preference, whether you bought a coupe or a sedan you basically purchased it because of personal taste and needs.

The best thing about either vehicle is the variety of mods available to make either vehicle even more unique and personalized. Keep up the great work! There are some amazing and beautiful vehicles owned by the contributors to this forum.

 

Back when we purchased our 2003 G sedan, the coupe hadn't been released yet. Immediately after the debut of the coupe we had envy pains, wishing we had waited for the coupe. It was so hot and in our opinion, the hottest car on the road of anything in or near its price range. At the time we were certain that a coupe would replace our sedan in the years to come.

Fast forward to 2010, with even less of a need for a four-door sedan, we found ourselves shopping for a new car and eyeing the coupe. When the choice came down to a G sedan or coupe, we both felt the overall new design of the sedan had overtaken the coupe, thus the sport sedan was our choice. The coupe is still an awesome, beautiful car, though!

You just contradicted yourself. You say that looks are subjective after saying the coupe is as ugly as the sedan. LOL.

Looks are definitely subjective...but in my opinion, the coupe is beautiful and the sedan is far from beautiful. I wouldn't call the sedan ugly, but if I wanted a sedan, I'd take a Maxima over the G37.

 

I don't approve? LOL....Who says that? You can take your car to the drag strip every day and it wouldn't bother me. But if someone thinks his G37 is a race car that can beat just about anything on the road, then that's funny to me...

 

No, it's the more practical choice. Almost every vehicle on the roads these days in a 4-door. Just look around next time you're out driving. I'd bet 4-door vehicles outnumber 2-door vehicles by at least 10 to 1. Yeah, everyone wants to be practical and have room for the baby seat in the back.

 

I wanted to show you your mistake. Also the G sedan is faster than both the G coupe and maxima and in MY opinion looks better than both. Coupe is just a 2 door slow version of the sedan.

 

LOL...no mistakes here, bud. I don't care about speed, especially when you're talking about maybe a tenth of a second. Even if the coupe were half as fast as the sedan, I'd still choose the coupe simply because it's so much better looking.

As for the Maxima...who cares about how fast it is? It's still a better looking car than the G37 sedan. Just my opinion, of course. No need to get upset because I don't like the styling of the sedan. Actually, if I wanted a sedan that looked just like the G37, I'd just get an Altima sedan and save myself a bunch of money....they look almost identical!
