G37 Sedan

So, why did YOU choose the Sedan over the Coupe, or Vice Versa?

Pick the sedan because:

a.)can carry more passengers (even though I only carry myself so far )
b.)less conspicuous
c.)sedan + 6mt + Navigation + Blue Slate = what do you mean you can't find one within 500 miles of where I live?

The Coupe was the only option for me when I went to buy my G37. I took a test drive and loved the coupe smiles from ear to ear . I then test drove the Sedan becuase I am a big (aka FAT) guy and thought I could use the room in the Sedan. I took the Sedan out and it was nice, but no smiling from ear to ear . I looked at the coupe again took another test drive and I was sold. The coupe had better lines, sexy as h3ll. The Sedan has an ugly a$$. More fun to drive and it was a motivation to start working out. Last 6 weeks in the gym.

The sedan is cheaper, has lower insurance, attracts less attention from the law, more interior room, more trunk space, lighter and faster acceleration.

But I chose the coupe because it is so much sexier. I did not want to wait till I was an old fart to enjoy a sporty car. The handling is so much better with the coupe. The exhaust on the coupe sounds much better. Most important, the ladies like it much more.

Coupe is waaay more stylish, but got a sedan because:

1) it has a trunk that is usable for something besides nanoparticles
2) less expensive - got prem/tech with sedan instead of coupe without.

I bought the sedan because

(1) It looks better than the coupe
(2) It would be a PITA to clean the back seat. I had a coupe before.

Sedan!

Got the 7AT sedan just in May.

1. My last car is a manual coupe (Supra TT), tired of small room and stick shift cars.
2. sedan looks better than coupe to me, if I have to get a coupe I'd rather go 370Z
3. sedan is fast, almost as fast as my Supra (acceleration).

Wow! Thanks for all the input everybody. It's amazing how subjective looks can be. I personally think the coupe does look more sporty, but I think the sedan looks more sophisticated/professional. Overall, I would rate them about even as far as aesthetics go.

Also, Pip, that was some funny **** about the "nanoparticles" in the trunk. HAHA.

I wanted the coupe baaad. Twice (2003 and 2009). Both times got the sedan. Its the same car with more utility for less money. On the other hand, the coupe is so much more exotic. Everytime I see one i can't help but to stare at it as it drives by. Sedans are a dime a dozen (including mine).

Blackbetty i have returned....just not to show off my sedan in any way shape or form...but i do think i am trying to push my sedan even for it being 09 and trying to get everything done to it. I personally think it is a head turner....but that just IMO....i still have a way to go and stuff coming in.....

OK, I must admit it is pretty hot for a soccermommobile. Love the big brakes. Super clean engine bay as well (especially those blue wires, where'd they come from? ) You sir, have a great looking sedan.

g37mobbin has one of the cleanest sedans i've seen! though i haven't seen the latest additions to the car.

now back to the topic.. coupe is a coupe, sedan is a sedan. it's like comparing oranges to apple.
