If my work was 3 miles away, I'd hoof it.

Mixed driving for me. 18ish MPG. Beh.

First fill up on my new to me 2012 G37X. 13.6L/100km or 17.3mpg for those of you south of the border. Almost exclusively city driving.

Took this pic after being on the hiway for roughly 100 miles. The cruise was set on 75ish for the majority of the time. Not bad considering the big, fat, sticky performance tires. I have to wonder if lowering the car really does increase gas mileage like Eibach claims it does. The car used to average 23 to 24mpg on the hiway when it was all stock

I just went on a 5 hour each way trip this weekend, got 441 miles out of the tank and got 25.3 mpg. The tank before than I got 23, and that was half highway half city driving. I've had the car for about 3 weeks now and haven't been driving too hard other than some random hard accelerations, so pretty happy with mileage so far.

I went from San Francisco to LA and back this weekend

I measured from SFO to Bakersfield and got 29.4 MPG (yes!!!) by going 72mph (cruise control) on I99.
Then I went back from LA to SFO in one tank. I had 20 minutes of complete standstill and then made an avg of 80 mph. I got 27.5 MPG going I-5.

holy f*ck, i thought i was going to get 22...

in theory, lowering should increase the mileage as it's more aerodynamic. Less drag = more mileage.
Now, if you start messing with the camber, wider tires, etc, i have no idea how that'd impact

The tires are summer only 245/45-18fr and 275/40-18rr, so they are wider and stickier than stock. I also run them at 33 psi for comfort, so it's not like I cranked them up to get better mileage. I get the aerodynamic angle, I just didn't think it would make that big of a difference.

aerodynamics in general are huge! for example, those who lower the windows in the fwy instead of using AC will get 3-4 less MPGs. Now, I'm not sure about lowering the susp

I was getting 19-20 with mostly spirited city driving. I recently switch to Conti DWS06 + ran a can of Berryman B-12 through in 10 gallons. I reset the MPG gauge afterward. This week I ended at 22.5mpg and have only been on the highway for about 20 miles at 75+. I almost exclusively have the all windows down and sunroof open weather dependent. Lots of stop and go here in Milwaukee as well as the lights are timed poorly.

I would be very careful with fuel treatment products.

Lowering gets you a better drag coefficient but you'd need to get an alignment as well. I feel like some toe on your tires could be reason for worse mileage.

And please, don't drive highway with your windows open and complaint about mileage

(I'm not saying don't drive with your windows open, I'm saying that if you do, don't complain!!)

I'm getting 13 MPG City in my sedan. I'm trying to drive like a grandma but that doesn't help. I just installed new filters and the car still has the stock Good Year 18" All season tires they still have about 30% of tread. Of course using Shell V-power only. I don't get it... Any suggestions?
