I don't buy that.
Although below 4.0 is no longer a big deal since Camaro 2ss can do it in 3.9, corvette 3.7, given the weight, power, lack of lsd there is no way a RS sedan doing it below 4.0 let alone 3.5 sorry. 4.3-4.4 should be possible though.
Whether :
1) He is spinning so speedometer is inaccurate.
2) He is going downhill
or maybe he has some mods other than just tires.

if you watch the video he starts acclerating at 4 seconds into the video and hits 60 by 7 seconds into the video. he went from 0-60 between 0:04-0:07 in video, which is a good 3 seconds at least. It could have been 3.25 sec, 3.50sec, or 3.75sec, but he was at 60 by 7 seconds from 4 seconds definitely.
Although the reviewers are expecting 4.5 seconds 0-60 time. No one has actually attempted one except the guy in that video.
EDIT: the pause at 70mph i think was due to wheel spin and not letting off the throttle.

That's hella flawed. It takes a lot longer to move from a dead stop than it does while a 3k pound car is already in motion. I would take 1 second away at least from that.
Car and Driver did.

He isn't adding a full second that way.
Look the Porsche 911 Carrera S. Is 600lbs lighter, more HP, more torque, great stock tires, and a way superior transmission (PDK), does 0 - 60 in the 3.5 - 3.7 range. Unless ever Porsche driver in the world is terrible and this guy is amazing it isn't happening.
Add another 50 - 70hp and sure it's entirely possible, just not stock.

Q60 being slightly lighter (100lbs ish), should pull slightly better as well.
Plus turbo's are generally a lot friendly to tunes than N/A cars, so it will be interesting to see what they can get out of it (Though if I do have a concern, other than if the tranny can hold the additional power), would be that since they pretty much use the same engine in the 300 and 400hp versions that the tunes won't be able to do much with it. We will have to see on that one.
Went to the grand opening of an Infiniti dealer near me last night as they were supposed to have a black and a white one. White one sold, still had the black one. My wife really liked the car and said I should trade mine in, LOL. But it got LOTS of attention and I think it'll sell well based on what I saw.
They're not expecting a single RS til after the 1st of the year and he wasn't sure what else they'd be getting in as he didn't know what'd been ordered off hand. My second opinion visually, is the same as the first, I like it more than the current car. This one had more packages including the driver's assistance package so it had that HUGE emblem. And yeah, it's big and ugly. Other than that, the car looks great.
And looks like we're adding another car to the family. A QX70 Sport caught my wife's eye, specifically the 21" blacked out wheels, so that''ll be coming home with us in a day or two. I'd push her to a Q50RS but she wants an SUV. Happy wife, happy life.
May test drive the Q60 today if I have time.

There are like 3 or 4 videos of 0-60s from owners and test drivers floating around. All fall in the mid to upper 4s. If some one cracked 3.5 and it was believable, the Q50 forums would be blowing up along with the rest of the internet.
