Then by all means don't even consider buying this car because of the lack of a physical A/C button.

Received an email two days ago that the local Infiniti dealership has a new Q60. Dropped by today to look at it and they told me that they damaged the drivers side rocker panel when they were taking it off the truck. The new part is on order, should receive it in 10 days.

Wait till they find out that they have to hit 2 steps to turn on the heated steering wheel. You know the heated steering wheel that wasn't on the Gs?

Just kidding.

Fortunately for Infiniti, the Q60 has more upgrades than downgrades.

Just kidding.

That's why I moved to Florida, because the G didn't have a heated steering wheel

Well, I speak from experience. The Q50 infotainment system was garbage. From lagging, to random booting and black screens.

The less we have to scan through screens while fighting the glare, the better.

Of course no one buys a care because of the a/c button. But why take it away and replace it with a stupid system?

Just look at the replies on a simple A/C // Climate Control questions. There's like 40 different answers and more than half of them are wrong.

lol

So I tested out my normal on/off sequence in the G37 (its so second nature after 8 years that I had to deliberately do it a few times) and I just hit the + button to turn on the fan and AC (if the AC was running before shut down previously). Haven't played with the InTouch system but once you turn on the AC through the touch screen icon, does it remember the selection like the G37 after you shutoff? If it does then all you have to do is hit the fan icon (the increase one) and the AC should turn on? I know it doesn't replace the physical AC button, and in the south there are very few days when I run the fan without the AC on, so I hope it shouldn't require going to the touch screen every time to run the AC

My guess is they don't want to match feature for feature with the Q70. The Q50 & Q60 need to stay a tad lower on the totem pole.

Q60 wasn't showing up on VPP when I checked yesterday, but wait a few months and it will be on there.
