LOL

To be honest. If I had the money....

I would have this 2017 Infiniti Q60 and a 6 speed Mustang GT350 in my driveway.

I actually really like the new Mustang, I just couldnt have it as my everyday DD. It would have to be my secondary "weekend" car when I feel like blasting thru some gears and have a sh*t-eating grin on my face.

But that's the point of a daily for me (to always have that **** eating grin on my face) and the american counterparts do just that.

You guys would be surprised what is cross shopped between Infinitis. Had a guy one time proceed to insult us when he we kindly asked him what he bought after he looked at our G coupe (new). A Hyundai Volster, because its the same thing........ People in the real world are never apples to apples. More like fruit to fruit, vegetable to vegetable.

2017 Q60 S Coupe

I think it's a beautiful car. However, I expected much more power from a twin-turbo. Do you think it's toned down as to not frighten the corporate meeting organizers?

When I'm done with the G in a few years, I'm going to take a good hard look at the Camaros and Mustangs on the used market. Especially since this Q doesn't come with a manual. That's a deal breaker for me.

Infiniti dumped the manual, because know one buys them, very low percentage. Who wants rear drive? esp when AWD is available. It's not just for snow driving, rain too.. I had a rear drive only G, it was bad in the snow and so so in the rain. Good luck having to pull out hard in the rain direct on to a highway. My X? Night and day.. When you hammer it goes.. instead of rear drive fish tailing or stability coming on slowing down the car, making it potentially dangerous. The AWD.. just digs in and goes.

BTW... GT-R doesn't come with a manual and it's an awesome driving experience.. just saying...

My GTO.. only fun weekend driving when it's dry out. That car is terrible the few times I had to drive in rain.

Yep.. if you get a BMW/Mercedes, only lease it, own while it has a warranty. Once they hit 5 to 7yrs old out of warranty, repairs mount up. Break My Wallet, LOL!
Case in point, a friends 7 yr old car, has had nearly $5k in repairs this past year. Another friends right after 4 yrs.. $$ pit. Not saying that Infiniti's don't break down either, but in my experience, the Infiniti, far more reliable than the German cars..

Yes, they fixed all of what I didn't really like in my G37 coupe including the wheel gap. The black pillars and headliner will be awesome. Thought about getting the black exterior, black interior, but wonder if that would be overkill with the black headliner now! Plus black is a pain to keep clean I hear, so will probably stick with silver or graphite.
Not sure.. certain angles/profiles it looks like a Accord V6 coupe. I'm sure in person, etc that will change. I think the current shape in IPL looks better, IMHO.
Nothing like a black car when it's clean. That color never goes out of style either. Yeah it's a pain to keep clean, from experience.

Sounds like you needed better tires. My car grips just fine in the rain. Of course any car can be pushed to limits regardless of tires but to categorize the G as so so in rain probably has more to do with tires and driving style on those tires than RWD. And most certainly for snow. But certainly adding the added traction of AWD to a comparable set of tires on a RWD can help in some situations.

Also cold vs hot temps etc...

New camaro interior is quite good, it has all the goodies q60 has and in terms of performance it is incredible, so this makes it a perfect alternative.

My '08 coupe is RWD and haven't had any major issues, but I think this time around when I pick up the new Q60, I will try the AWD and see if I like it better! 400hp and AWD, can't go wrong! Should be a beast on the road!
