i've searched around and haven't found anything anything about vinyl wrapping your grill has anyone done this? i don't think plasidip is a good option as it's only temp and it wears off after a few months..

Very nice! I'm looking at wrapping in gloss black. Where's the best place to pick up the 3M vinyl? Is there a certain type that I should buy? I'm new to wrapping.

 

AVS is a great vinyl source, I'd use 3m 1080 scotchprint, here's the link and you'd need the 1x5ft section

I always thought a very thin strip of chrome vinyl might look nice on the lower grill on a Journey. That solid diffuser strip that sticks out the lower grill... Not enough to cover it entirely... Just a nice chrome vinyl strip across the part of it that faces forward. I have the vinyl - but have no skills.

I don't mean to beat a dead horse here, but if prepared correctly, Plastidip can last quite a while. I dipped the grille of my accord years ago and it is still holding up just fine to this day. I never had to touch it up or worry about peeling/chipping. It's only temporary if you want it to be.
