Dear G37 owners and enthusiasts,

Top newbie here that don't know anything about cars in general and seeking any advice, comments, feedback is much appreciated.

I just bought a 2008 g37 coupe and was wondering if anyone has any issues of g37 interior items such as:

Power Door Locks
Power Drivers Seat
Power Mirrors
Power Steering
Power Windows

well anything to do with power. Now, say any of the items mentioned above, does not function properly or loses its functions, are there any solutions to fix that?

Any comments or recommendations much appreciated. Thank you.

 

Can you explain some of the issues which you are having? Do these items simply not ever work?

No I don't have these issues at all, but say you can no longer adjust your seat with the power functions, basically no power in the car. What would you do ? I know it's a silly question. I guess I'm asking what to do if the car's power was dead. I guess none of the items matter anyway if you can't even turn the engine on in the first place.

 

well if something stops working.. the solution is to fix it, nothing different from a accord offering the same features. if something thats electronic that stops working, then it wont work... lol

 

If it aint broke dont fix it. So far i had no problems on my car.

 

Anything, mechanical or electronic, can break. If it does you would have it repaired or replaced. Just like you would your dishwasher or vacuum cleaner.

As far as I'm aware there are no common issues with electronic failures.

 

These aren't British cars, very little electrical/mechanical issues and if there are ..... you get them fixed. Just drive and be happy :-)

 

Well the key fob has an actual key in it to open the door...then you place the fob in the receptacle on the left side under the dash to start you vehicle (this is should the battery fail in the remote)

Basically when something doesn't work you take it in to get it fixed or come here to the forum and ask someone. There are a lot of knowledgeable people here on the forum that can help you.
