I just ran into the same exact problem and Infiniti quoted me $850 to replace this!

So what I did was took out my Gen 3 intake, took out the line (super easy), and replaced it. I bought the replacement part for 60 bucks on ebay. The part number for this specific pipe is 924403WK0A.

Let me know if you have any questions, this is a super easy DIY fix!

Not yet. I still need to do this. I was thinking of re-charging it myself. Any ideas?

Good move!

Yeah, A/C plumbing really is just plumbing; it only takes special equipment to do the evacuation and recharge.

You can go to the dealer and have them grab one and install for under $100. For recharging go to a autobody shop. if your nice they may even do it for free.

2010 G37S coupe with AC leak somewhere as well. I've injected UV dye into the system. So far I don't see any leak with a UV light. Even after taking out the right air intake box and windshield cowl.

I will try jacking the car up and check the bottom of the compressor. The top and side of the compressor looks fine no dye present.

My AC is blowing hot air. After recharging the system with 19 ounce of refrigerant and UV dye, it went dry again within 4 days.

My diagnostic continues...
