Anyone with A/C problems?? I'm already dry. Possible leak?

I have an 08 37s and my a/c is completely out of freon. A buddy works for nissan said its not normal and he hasn't really seen any z's or g's come back with a/c problems except with air intakes. My lines look good, except I have to take the front shroud off to check the lines up front. I'll prolly run some dye through to see if there is a leak. I'm wondering if my stillen gen III's came into contact with any lines and rubbed through somehow. Anyone else experienced anything like it?

I have Gen 3's, but haven't experienced it.. One thing that comes to mind though, is during the Gen 3 install (where you have to enlarge the core support) you'd come to very close contact with the fragile metal A/C lines, thus creating the potential to damage them causing a leak.

Maybe you could just remove the whole climate control system to save weight...

I'd say it's not normal too. I have an '08 and my air conditioning is still fine.

Definitely a serious leak.... Anyone with Stillen gen III's be careful if they rub your ac lines. I even tried to bring them higher on their mounts but it still rests on the line. I am going to have to get a new line and tweak it a little and wrap it in tubing to make sure it doesn't rub through again

I have the gen 3 and mine tore right through my line TWICE. The intake is a POS, i had to cut a wider opening in my frame and zip-tie the pipe to sit higher up to prevent rubbing on the line again. Line + labor = $400 a pop

To keep it from rubbing your AC line and causing a leak, buy $1 worth of rubber heater hose in the appropriate diameter and slit it down the side. Wrap it around the AC line to insulate it from the abrasion. Volila!

I have similar problem. I'm waiting for new lines from infiniti. Just wondering if you got your ac recharge from infiniti or diy or anyone else?

Thanks
