When going over bumpy roads, my 2008 G37s creates creaky noise between the part that houses all the gauges (techometer, speedometer, ...etc.) and the dashboard goes across the car.
First of all, why the hell aren't them a one-piece construction? Second, what could I do to eliminate the noise?
It's 2 pieced because then the whole thing can go up and down with your steering wheel. I don't know how to fix it I wish i could, if you do remember to tell me!

Get used to it brotha, Nissan is notorious for this. You would think they'd hire a BMW engineer or two to get this long-standing issue corrected but nope......
At least we're only getting creaks my friends BMW is shopped like 30% of the time hahaha.
I'd agree on that but at least when you close the door to a BMW, the interior is quiet and you feel separated from the outside world, bumps or no bumps. I hate that part about Nissan.
Um ok so you would rather your car be in shop 30% of the time but not dash rattle? No thanks, I will take my car being in the shop 2% of the time and fix the rattle. NEXT!

Yeah, 30% of the time for engine issues or maintenance or whatever than most of the time with interior rattles. Difference is that the 30% will most likely get fixed compared to NO SOLUTION to the Nissan rattles. Sorry but the rattles are just embarrassing on such a great car like the G (it really cheapens the character of the vehicle). If it were only a few of the G's I'd understand but it's across the board and that's just pathetic. Thought interior rattles were innate to American vehicles. Even my POS Chevy Cobalt didn't rattle as much (that's just sad)
Current work-around for rattles = blast the stereo!!!
