Actually, not at all. And, owning one for a year, I am not a fan of Infiniti North America, or most of it's dealers. But, let's be honest here, the auto roll down by key is no different in Infinitis than in other cars. Again, how is Infiniti wrong for competitively equipping their cars?

Actually, it is not impossible. It just takes longer.

In my AMG you could roll down the windows by holding the fob unlock for a few seconds which was nice, but you're saying you have to pull the little key stub and stick it in the door to roll down the windows? That's retarded

auto roll down by key is something I see as a useless feature.
it's like putting a screen under the car, watching a movie while doing an oil change.

it's just stupid IMHO !!!

I am not saying you have to do this. I am only saying you can do this.

You can also do it via the fob. There have been posts about people accidentally rolling down windows when reaching into their pockets and accidentally hitting the button.

Just to clarify. I never said I liked it or I thought it was a good idea. I never use it. But, I haven't taken the time to disable it either. If my car was likely to be broken into by this method, I would have this feature disabled.

Oh, ok. Why did they have the key function in-the-door then? Now it's double retarded

True, but that doesn't mean the inner workings of the feature are exactly the same. Only time will tell if this becomes widespread and exposes a design flaw of the Infiniti/Nissan brand. If it is, than I hope Infiniti/Nissan addresses the issue.

This has gone stoopid.

It IS a flaw but it also the reality so regardless if Infiniti should step up or not, until they do, how do we prevent it from happening?

Complaining that they should fix it does not do shizzit for the problem.
