blame Enkei for design of the ugly rims. They gotta be lightweight. I wonder how much better handling those new struts and springs will make.

The only good thing, wonder if the IPL updated ECU can be modded into a non-IPL car? =)

Sure it can. But UpRev is doing it for a lot less than Infiniti is going to charge and probably getting better results. Certainly a hell of a lot cheaper than buying a new ECU from Infiniti.

I want to hear what the new exhaust sounds like and can it be fitted on 2010 G37S!

The new wheels are nice but don't like the rear but that's just my opinion as I know a lot of people who like it that way!

Lexus is taking a hit every time they sell a LFA, even at the price of 400K. The Bugatti Veyron really costs about 5 million to make per car.
Yes, that's very true. However, the LFA and Veyron were built from the start knowing they would lose money on them. Toyota and VAG are also two of the world's largest automakers. The GTR is a smaller volume car but they still make money off of it. Nissan has more money to play with than Infiniti. Even though it a division of Nissan it has to be independently profitable. Making a halo car when money is tight is not the best business decision. Sure it's cool and attracts attention but at the end of the day it's the G37s and G25s that are going to be paying the bills. Build up your core brand so once you get people into the showrooms with your halo cars you have a lot of other things to offer them.

I said earlier, I think that Infiniti will come out with higher performance models, just not right now. Give it about 5 years so they can build on the G's and new M's reputations; establish themselves in Europe, and make a name for themselves.

So based on the article, they are simply retuning the ECU and exhaust to produce the extra HP, wouldn't you be able to do that to the current G37 by having it tuned as well?

Hmmmm 348? Why didn't they just make it 350? Looks o.k to me but I would only buy it depending on the price tag.

New IPL

Infiniti Performance line

I think this ride will have maybe 16 to 18 more horses. It looks ok, the performance specs are obviously improved, the red leather looks cool. I still think Infiniti did a half assed job, what is 18 more horses going to do for you? Plus the only change was the back side front lips and sides with new wheels and more sturdy suspension.

I rather fork up 10 grand and upgrade to GTM power

^I'm with you. if they're doing a preformance model then they gotta go all out on it. minor stuff like this isn't even worth the effort. they should make this be the new S version and do something way more for the ipl
