The new IPL G37S
Since this is Pebble Beach, CA its a given its a 2011 but is it just a 2011 with an aero kit or is this just a G with IPL parts?
This aero kit isn't much different from other kits we have seen. I figured Infiniti would attempt to distinguish the IPL G from any other G we have seen before.

as far as IPL goes....this car might not have any IPL parts
IMO, the bigger exhaust tips don't even really look better. I kinda liked the rolled lip on the tips we have now...and these new tips don't appear to have a rolled lip on them. Plus, is bigger really better when it comes to tips? Our current tips are already bordering on "silly" size, so why go even bigger?
Overall, I'm a bit disappointed in the changes.

Now that I've looked at the pics again, it does appear those tips have rolled lips. Still though, we already have cannon-shooters out the back, so they don't need to be bigger...sport exhaust or not! LOL
To address a few posts about replacing the faux vents on our sport models with these new fogs, it is seemingly obvious that you 1.) may be able to do this but the first requirement would have to be that you buy the Aero kit front bumper at least as the vents are completely different. So if you have that kit then maybe you question is more feasible. & 2.) would have to splice it differently because this new look has taken the original fogs (that you still have in your car's headlight) completely out and dropped them down.
IMO This is simply the most fully loaded model that will be the promotional car for the IPL line with every upgrade in it that is expected to be introduced about now anyways. I hope that every part is an option to build your G instead of standard because the Aero kit is awful IMO and even with the crome gone looks very cheesy and weak especially in person (Field's Infiniti's anninversary addition... even though it has some serious power backed by Stillen's SC, looks do not match the machine with that Aero kit).
In looking closely at some of these pictures it almost looks like they have done something more with the suspension. What do you guys think?
The only option I could see between a SC and Turbo is the S/C as a dealer installed Stillen will still keep you car under warranty today on our older models (just gotta find the Infiniti dealers that do it). I am not saying the IPL will actually have a SC'ed G but if we are to dream, I think we should dream logically at the very least.

Let me start first by saying thanks to MarkM for coming through on the pics, great find and great updates (minus the fact that we all waited for hours and late into the night because the anticipation was killing us!!) Anyhow, there are still several questions that have yet be answered. 1. As someone mentioned previously, the "official" update info specifically mentioned moving the foglight out of the headlight and down into the front fascia. Clearly, this pick shows BOTH intact. (However, since we can't be sure of this, its just speculation at this point.) 2.Why, if there are two new colors coming out in 11' (Malbec Black, Lapis Blue) why would they NOT showcase they're unveiling car in one of these colors? 3.And finally, how WEAK is infiniti if this is the facelift? I mean really, you take the so-called special/anniversary edition kit (which was hideous to begin with) take out just the chrome in the faux vents, and then add foglights and call it an update... WEAK!!!! These are just my personal thoughts and opinions, but I had more faith in infiniti then this. Also, people were asking early on if they could put the new fogs in their cars and the answer here should be yes, with some finagling ofcourse. Obviously if they fit on this G, then they either had to come up with a new design for the washer fluid container or, some kind of kit to relocate it because there is NO WAY that for a simple facelift, they reworked everything up there just for that. Just my .02 and thanks again Mark!
