I believe this car was going to show up at pebble beach on Friday. One day early release seems like a " thing " car makers do these days.

 

They get a black interior with red stitching.

 

I didn't know these pics would be such a hit and spread to so many sites... I should have sold them lol.

 

I won't say it's not possible but I really truly doubt they changed a single thing in terms of what they had scheduled. If anything it would have been a better marketing strategy to let those pictures circulate for a little bit before releasing anything official.

 

Wow...I'm really not feelin it at all! Like previous posts stated...that wheel gap is nasty ya! I like the rear, and the rear, and can't forget about the...rear!

 

I agree...really ugly logo! Also, the acronym "IPL" sounds lame to.

 

what the hell infiniti is thinking?? seriously? now its matched up with AMG, M power just bcuz 18 HP added over current g37?

Sorry Ill pass.. oh btw.. Infiniti if you wanna catch up with AMG, M power and these stuffs.. please update ur tranny to dual clutch "AND" without lagging gears!

+1 on the wheel gap though. It should come with adjustable coilovers.

 

At least Lexus gave the IS-F a different engine! IPL will never be an M/AMG competitor with these kinds of products. I'll stick to my regular sports package and spend the 5k markup on my own exhaust and wheels thank you.

 

Throw direct injection into the laundry list of upgrades too

 

Love the wheels and the interior, and that's where the love ends. Buy a 2010 for less $ and do your own upgrades. You can get a lot of parts/visual upgrades for what this will end up costing.

 

I guess I was right about the IPL G coupe... except the part where I said it would have 350HP. lol 348HP...? Really? haha

 

I will stand away from the crowd and say that I like it. It doesn't offend me not one bit. The power upgrade is modest which is fine. I'm not sure why there are complainants about them not doing this or that to compete with AMG/M models. I mean if you wanted one of those then why didn't anyone get one at first instead of your G? I'm just sayin. My .02 but I don't think high performance models are wise to release when companies are now having to deal with strict fuel economy regulations. Again don't take my words to heart but just my opinion.

 

I'm gonna have to trade my G for this and drop w some aggressive wheels .
