The new IPL G37S
From what I've seen, people who work for Infiniti dealerships are among the LAST to know anything about changes and/or new models. It seems that the Internet has you guys all beat!
LOL, I'm not saying this is true in your case, but I wouldn't be surprised if this is the first time you saw pics of the facelift & other changes to the 2011 G.
That's one reason why I love forums like this one. It's a great way to get info before most people have it.

Looks like someone stole your pix already!!

That's why I watermarked the pictures. Hey as long as they give me credit, it's cool with me!

To address a few posts about replacing the faux vents on our sport models with these new fogs, it is seemingly obvious that you 1.) may be able to do this but the first requirement would have to be that you buy the Aero kit front bumper at least as the vents are completely different. So if you have that kit then maybe you question is more feasible. & 2.) would have to splice it differently because this new look has taken the original fogs (that you still have in your car's headlight) completely out and dropped them down.
IMO This is simply the most fully loaded model that will be the promotional car for the IPL line with every upgrade in it that is expected to be introduced about now anyways. I hope that every part is an option to build your G instead of standard because the Aero kit is awful IMO and even with the crome gone looks very cheesy and weak especially in person (Field's Infiniti's anninversary addition... even though it has some serious power backed by Stillen's SC, looks do not match the machine with that Aero kit).
In looking closely at some of these pictures it almost looks like they have done something more with the suspension. What do you guys think?
The only option I could see between a SC and Turbo is the S/C as a dealer installed Stillen will still keep you car under warranty today on our older models (just gotta find the Infiniti dealers that do it). I am not saying the IPL will actually have a SC'ed G but if we are to dream, I think we should dream logically at the very least.

Anyone who has said that this Aero kit is awesome should be forced to turn in their G's imediately!!!
Lol...that sht is horrrrible!!!! Annnnd I have to retract my liking of the front bumper...it's too much, I like my "S" bumper better...
and lastly...those wheels...you gotta be kidding me right!? Those are horrible too. At least they were consistent though, it's all horrible! I have seen 3rd party kits that look better than this one.

In the aftermarket, there are better wheels, springs, and body kits to be had for much less than what Infiniti dealers will charge for them.
The end result of all of this is going to be a fully loaded IPL G that will be well past 335 money and touching M3 territory.
My one and only hope is for a supercharger with an Infinti backed warranty, though in the end we will all most likely be better off buying the kit directly from Stillen and getting it installed at a specialist rather than paying for the dealer overhead (which will include the warranty).
Completely agree. Unless we are talking Infiniti backed FI (most likely SC), nothing else is special.

i would rather wait till infiniti releases a hole new model, i wouldnt never trade in my 09s for this.
Can I ask a simpleton question? Why were the badges taped over as if no one would be able to figure out so obviously that it was an Infiniti G37? It's not like it's a different car than the one that has been on the market for years...
If this is the "IPL" model, like someone said before, unless there is a power upgrade here via supercharger, etc. I'm not sure there is a point of purchasing this over a regular sport model (Granted we don't know all the details, especially pricing).
Taping off the badges seem to be standard procedure for anything the auto companies want to keep "secret". But if is funny that they would tape off the badges on a car that has basically looked the same for three years now. They even taped off the Infiniti logos on the wheels and the grill. LOL
I think it looks pretty sexy.
It's funny to see that when a new model comes out, everybody immediately says how ugly it is, it's not much better, they're disappointed. Then when it comes out, the story changes and everyone loves it. Seems to happen with every model. The G35 drivers were saying the same thing about the G37 and the cycle will just repeat itself.
