Service engine light - gas cap?

so like about last month the ses light came on and i had an oil change done and the guy said there was too much oil? but i check the dip stick before and it was perfectly fine.

and the light went away after the oil change and today when i turned the car on the light is back on.

i changed my oil filter and air filters that same day also.

i have a 2011 g37 sedan btw.

alright so the code was something with the fuel cap any fix?

Gonna need that code read bruh. Report back when you have it. Nobody is going to know anything until that code is read.

Shouldn't be connected but it's possible it triggered something else.

If its the code for the fuel cap being off then,
Either you drove around with your fuel cap loose/off and it popped the code which should go away after sometime when you tighten the cap.
Or if indeed your fuel cap isnt sealing properly or something odd youll just need a new one.
