Question Reset "service engine soon" light?

Does anyone know how to reset the "service engine soon" warning light in the instument panel? Without resetting the ECU completely?

Thanks!

Why would you want to do that? Why does it matter if the ECU is reset?

It can probably be done with an OBII-Consult without resetting the ecu.

I want to reset the light because it comes on at 3750 miles to say it's time for an oil change. But I change the oil more frequently than that (I have already changed it twice in 4000 mi), and don't like the light staring me in the face when the oil has already been changed.

That's not your SES light guy. Go into your settings and reset the warning. You can set it to the mileage you want. But if you don't reset it, that alert will constantly remind you to change the oil.
