When you shift gears, do you press the clutch all the way to the floor? Or just enough to engage the clutch? (went in for an oil leak, noticed a pool of oil on the floor).
I press mine all the way to the floor each time. Maybe that's why it failed at 2800 miles?
But, I think this is a known issue because the service writer noted that CSC had to be replaced before the techs even looked at the car.

68k and still going on stock clutch and CSC. Fingers crossed! I beat on my car daily. Lots of drag strip passes as well. When the car had OEM fluid the clutch would slip a lot and would not grab properly. Switched to BG dot 3 brake fluid and have had zero issues since then. I change the clutch fluid every year as some members on here recommend. Also BG has a program where if you use their fluid and the part fails they will replace it for free or atleast cover 50%. Next year's project is to go turbo

I've never done it on our car but it is pretty straight forward but you need two people, one person to push the pedal and one person underneath. My friend works at a dealership so I get him to do all my service for really cheap.
Here's a video on how to do it on a g35 6mt
And this off the 370z forum

I have to do this in the spring as my car approaches 60k but it looks very similar to a engine oil change.

When replacing the slave with a stock unit, it must be separated from the tube. There's an oring that attaches to the tube at the csc end. It's possible to damage this in the removal process. Not to mention the oring is probably deformed at this point anyways.
Why they call for replacement of the entire tube and not just the o-ring?? Good question. Perhaps there's other wear that occurs to this tube?
My guess is it's just part of nissan's half assed design just like the csc itself.
