Can never get off the line smoothly...is it just me?

Can never get off the line smoothly...is it just me?
I'm by no means a slouch when it comes to dancing with the clutch pedal. Drove everything from low end corollas to my 600hp Evo X with a racing clutch, all of which I can get off the line in relatively smooth fashion. With the G37S though...for reasons I still can't figure out, I can never get off the line with it stuttering, like the clutch wasn't grabbing quickly enough. It would grab, then when I thought the clutch took hold, I would slowly let go of the clutch pedal, but the damn car still stutters as it get off the line. I'm wondering if the pressure plate is just worn out, or does it have something to do with the clutch slave cylinder that I've been reading about?

It's the car. It's very exacting.
I worked Valet at a Casino for a few years, so I've driven many different manual transmission vehicles.
The G37 feels like it is constantly changing. I am amazed at some days where I am not able to drive the car smoothly.
Most days I can drive the car smoothly. Other days I drive like a newb.
And If I adjust my seat position I'm screwed.
I even got to watch the porter at my Infiniti dealership stall my vehicle when attempting to drive it to the service bay.

Honestly, it could be that your CSC is very worn and its possibly on its way out. Mine died at 12,000 miles on my G37 Sedan.
The transmission and gearbox and clutch disk are SOLID on this car.
To be precise, its NOT the clutch that sucks on this car. Its the pedal assembly.
The clutch pedal is WAYYY too high-sprung and the slave cylinder is just a horrible plastic POS.
If you want to fix this, I would recommend getting the Jsolo clutch spring and getting your CSC replaced.

I partly agree with what you said, but I'd have to advise that the clutch spring is a waste of money. I have tried every clutch mod done to this car. The spring is a band aid on a gunshot wound. The RJM pedal actually fixes what's wrong with the pedal. The spring did little if anything. I replaced the clutch, master, CSC before installing the RJM. The spring might have made engaging the pedal slightly better but not much. Replacing the pedal assembly with the RJM makes it like it's supposed to be.

Regardless, I know I'm going to buy the RJM Pedal in a month or so because I am convinced that will solve the problem and make this car go from 90% enjoyment to a full 100%. Don't loose faith in the car, I worked at the Airport Valet and could shift Porsches to Hondas like butter, but the G will become smoother with that RJM pedal and a few other fixes

I think I have the word I'm looking for - RANDOM. Not exacting, more like it feels as if there's a delay with the pedal and the clutch's reaction, and the friction point seems to "move" on a whim. It's like watching YouTube buffer to a video of a person shifting.
But anyway...I'm going to replace the clutch pedal first, then at some point I'll upgrade the clutch/flywheel/slave/master cylinder combo and complete the package.
