Hey guys, I haven't posted on here in a while, but I could use your help. I was driving today and my trans got all *****. I'll explain. I was accelerating, then took my foot off the gas cause some cut in front of me. The RPMs normally stay high, then the computer figures out you're not accl'ing anymore and goes back down to 1500. This time they stayed up, but the car went no where. It was almost like being stuck in neutral. I could literally redline it and the car didn't move. I pulled over and turned the car off and back on again, which seemed to fix it. As anyone else ever experienced that? If so, what did you do to correct it?

You might have been between gears? The trans TQ converter will unlock and be in "Open" status, You can hit the gas at the .01 sec and the trans wont engage. :/

 

I've had somewhat of the same issues after upgrading my transmission internals and components. It's in the tune usually, if there are no weird noises it's the tune. Weird noises TQ Converter like ANMVQ said.
