Maelstrom, what year is your car, how many miles. What geographic region? I'm in chicago, car is going on ~3 years with under 20K. I expect the bleeder to come loose easily when I do the bleed in the spring. All the brake bleeders came undone with little drama. I suppose using the proper tool also helps. A flare nut wrench is appropriate.

I think in your case someone overtorqued the screw. These things are rated in terms of inch lb, not ft lb. Finger tight then a little more to snug it down.

2008 G37S coupe, 55k miles, Georgia (previous owner may have been in Alabama... not entirely sure). I've had the car for 6 months.

I was pissed when I found out that my car had 57k miles and it blew right when I was headed on a 800 mile road trip. Warranty not covered...this **** needs a recall.

I didn't bother doing this, I figured I'd get my dealer to fix it during the next oil change. The CSC failed before my next oil change.
I ignored the bleeder screw and just used the turkey baster method, but now (like you) my CSC failed shortly afterwards. I think I'm going to try out the Z1 CSC elimination kit (heard good things from 370Zs, but seems somewhat untested on the G37).

55k miles... I'm on the fence about also replacing clutch/flywheel while the tranny is dropped. This is my daily driver, so I'm not sure about the chatter and the stiffer engagement.
