2008 G37S coupe timing chain replacement

I just purchased a 2008 coupe and when I asked what service I should expect at 100K, the dealer said I will need to replace the belt. I checked online and found that this car has a timing chain. Does it have to be replaced at 100K?

Nope, the timing chain is not serviceable and theoretically designed to last "forever".

They probably meant the serpentine belt. Like Sam said, timing chain does not need replacement.

Thanks guys for the info. I'm used to Honda's that have to be changed at 100K. Looks like the G37 engine has a very limited maintenance schedule.

Generally the Drive belt will be changed around 110k?.. (please correct me if im wrong), and the t-chain does get a look over with possible tightening, and reseals of the grommets and gaskets for the timing belt cover.
