New GTR Tranny in my G37
1) look at the dates of threads you post in
2) there's not really any need to even reply to or acknowledge something like this. It was silly 3 years ago when initially posted and passage of time hasn't made it any more sensible.
And I doubt anybody hates you. You've only made 2 posts, we don't even know you yet.

Sorry, I don't post much. I was looking for info on beefing up the G37 Coupe 7AT AWD for a car project I'm looking at after the GTR goes back at the end of November.
I simply couldn't resist when I saw the comments about how the 370Z 7AT shifted just a fast as the GTR. It was especially hard after spending the weekend on the Dragon (check out Killboy, 10/18, Sports cars, 12:17pm, that's me).
I didn't even notice the date before I hit send. Please don't hate me.

Look into a company called Level 10 Transmissions. They are well known for building/beefing up Nissan/Infinti transmissions. (and many other vehicles)

If anyone can accomplish what you want, it's them.
And how could we hate you? You drive a GT-R ffs.

Tail of the Dragon is an 11 mile stretch of road in TN with no intersections or cross-roads, but has 300+ curves.

Killboy is a group of photographers that stand on a couple of the corners, take photos of the cars as they pass.

Yes, the Tail of the Dragon is a great road, if there isn't too much traffic. Road and Track had an article on it a little while ago. If you look at my car photo you will notice that I have the LH front tire almost off the ground. The right rear is pretty far up in the wheel well. Iblame the mushy suspension on the GTR in Race mode. There are many nicely cambered 135°~180°~245° curves. If you ever get the chance, you should try the road. Week days are best.
