transmission

so background story, I've had my 08 G37s 6mt since 2010...in 2012, i had galling on the synchro gear for 5th and 6th. the transmission was subsequently replaced, flywheel clutch and all at around 88k.

shifting is smooth and amazing, but two worries that are kinda on my mind:

1) whenever it's idling in neutral, i hear a chattering...i did research and read that it's usual for the vq37vhr to chatter a bit, but i just recently took it in for an alignment and the guy said it was my thrust bearing. any thoughts?

2) when i let off the gas in gear above 3k rpm, while the rpms are coasting down, around 3.3k-3.1k i get a...shuddering (there's no other way to put it) of the engine and i can feel it through the floor and through the shifter. it's not violent, but definitely noticeable....has anyone experienced any of this..?

Thanks!

concern 1 is normal, my 370 had that issue as well. issue 2 sounds like a driveshaft imbalance, your rear subframe mount may be bad. look for fluid on your rear diff, the rear mount is silicone filled and is known to fail. when it fails it leaks the silicone fluid all over your rear diff, this can cause vibration. whiteline makes a solid mount as a replacement that is very nice and won't fall like the stocker. good luck!
