Hmm.. Well a lot to take in, I think I might go check out "Level 10" as that seems like a good starting point. I rather not have my tranny blow apart on me with all the extra power going through it right now.

What about going to Up-Rev and get a pro-tune to the Tranny? Anyone have any luck with that?

Other then that, I might go spot some GTR's around my area and see if I can tow one away with my friends truck jk

The L10 idea is the best starting point if your quest is to get a stronger slushbox. Valve body upgrades, line pressure map tunes, and maybe even clutch packs is what you should be looking into.

...not sure, but the G isn't a true sports car, the Z is.
I'm sure that has something to do with it.
There is a Trans Go (I believe thats the name) kit you can have installed to totally git rid of the lag in shifting.

I really want to have that crazy fast shifting power and a tranny that can hold the extra power in my engine... So is it possible? Well I should ask is it possible to do with minimal changes and cost? That's the real question.

What ya think, has anyone done it.
What is this "extra power" you speak of? Are you boosted?

I'd recommend the Trans-Go VB upgrade.

I would actually pay the money for a rev match ECM upgrade if that was possible

As others have stated, the drivetrain and platform on these cars is COMPLETELY different and incompatible. Everything would have to be custom fabbed, and the cost of doing that...well again....might as well go buy a GTR.

I have a 2015 GTR, and there is no way the 7AT shifts at the speed of the GTR. I have driven both, and the G37 Coupe; The GTR's 0.15s shifts are unbelievable. Just got back from a weekend at the Dragon. Had a BLAST. Plan to go back in 3 weeks if the weather holds.

You used your very first post just to tell us the GTR with a Dual Clutch Transmission shifts faster than the G37 7AT slush box?

Thanks for the clarification.

Sorry, I don't post much. I was looking for info on beefing up the G37 Coupe 7AT AWD for a car project I'm looking at after the GTR goes back at the end of November.

I simply couldn't resist when I saw the comments about how the 370Z 7AT shifted just a fast as the GTR. It was especially hard after spending the weekend on the Dragon (check out Killboy, 10/18, Sports cars, 12:17pm, that's me).

I didn't even notice the date before I hit send. Please don't hate me.
