so i never really looked closely at my dyno graph because i was happy with 400 wheel at 5 psi but now im noticing i stoped making power at 6000 rpm. im thinking either my air filter is too small (its a k&n i had laying around from my 350z cold air intake the typhoon kit), or the car is a little too rich because i based my fuel map off of a johnny tran map for 9psi, but 11.1 afr doesnt seem that rich for it to fall on its face, or is it normal for these engines to stop making power around there?

Actually that's a good point. I have a 3 inch out of back of the turbo going into the stock resignated y pipe, then tanabe medallion mufflers. I'd probly notice a huge gain with a straight 3 inch out.

I don't understand why you left the factory y-pipe when you're going that far with your build

And now that you're rocking a single turbo why not go with a single muffler too?

My intentions were origionally to make the cheapest bolt on kit and sell the hell out of it but it seems no ones interested so everything here out is gonna be straight performance

Could be a couple reasons. Was the 5psi on spring pressure only, not a boost controller? If you are only using spring pressure without a controller, the boost has a tendency to drop off towards redline. If you are using a controller and making 5psi through the whole run, than it could be timing being pulled up-top, by the tuner, or because of bad gas (car might be detecting knock and pulling timing automatically).

I am running just Wastegate spring pressure. My greddy electronic boost controller has a bad solenoid. That's a good possibility there's so much heat and pressure the spring could be forced to open more and more. The spring is 7.5 psi, the tuner didn't have a map sensor so we had a third person watch the boost gauge it was at 6 psi and slowly worked itself to 5 psi but I should deffinantly still make some power from 6300 to 7300 not completely fall on its face. It didn't go into the high detonation map or we would have noticed in the datalogs
