I mounted the Wastegate dumped but facing my exhaust so if I get annoyed I can send a straight pipe into the exhaust to reroute it.

This is without a doubt the most interesting turbo install I've seen here I this forum. Props for undertaking something so unique and ambitious. Keep the updates coming all the way through tuning and street testing.

What is this setup costing you? I think by the time all is done 100% and tuned you will probably be upwards of 7k or more.

I only have about 3000$ in parts for this build. plus I bought a welder with aluminum spool gun for 500$ a lift for 400$ metal chop saw 100$ drill press 75$ and bench grinder/belt sander for 100$. so I have about 4000$ invested to have a bad *** car and garage. Can't go wrong.

Was gonna paint intercooler and oil cooler black for sleeper look but I kind of like them polished with the bumper on

Getting so close just waiting on oil pump and oil feed and return lines. Drop in fuel pump and injectors. And connect the two upper charge pipes to throttle bodies

I waited till last minute to connect the upper charge pipes cause I knew the angles were weird on both sides spent all morning getting the angles close enough to use hump couplers.

$4000 is very inexpensive , but you still have electronics , polishing, and tunning. And hopefully no other mods have to be done. Props for undertaking such a different turbo setup on your own .

You've got basketballs, I'll give you that! Props for hanging it out there.

That said, be careful with your weld grinding... you may be taking off too much of the penetrated zone and weakening the weld. Sometimes pretty ain't a good thing.

Included in the 3000$ in parts are 550cc drop in injectors and a osirus tuner cable.

my local tuning shop has a sale on aem wideband plus boost gauge for 200$

I got a basemap for 100$, and I'm going to street tune it from there. My local dyno charges 200$ an hour so if I get the tune pretty close I should be able to get a nice tune in an hour.

I hope to be under 4500$ said and done. Maybe I can use my new garage to make back some of this money back I just dumped into the g coupe.
