Yea that's the one I saw but figured they shouldn't vary that much from model to model. Not like there is a different trans in each or they are tuned differently but I'm new to this car so I'm still learning. I recently grounded it ( DIY style) and maybe will ground the throttle bodies next and see if the sharpens it up any more. It cleaned up some of it and car feels a bit better so I'm thinking after the tune it will make it a bit snappier. I just dont know how I feel about a dealership charging me $100 + just to check if it's up to date or needs the update.

Can anybody confirm if the transmission update from dealership will wipe uprev tune? I have read comments both ways on the site but nothing definitive.

I've heard if you're out of warranty, it costs about an hour of labor. It's not a recall so it won't be free.

No, I had to reset the ECU. Then it started driving smooth.

I took mine in this morning for the update. I'll report back here with the results. They're charging me 1 hour of labor for it so it's going to run me $125.

UPDATE:

Alright so I got it back and I must say I'm impressed by how much smoother the tranny is now. I still have an issue with it revving up between 3rd-4th gear but the downshifting is incredibly smooth. For whatever reason (maybe it's just me), but it seems much more responsive now as well.

Overall, I'd say it was worth the $125 as feeling every vibration and gear of the transmission was really starting to bother me.

Reprogramming cost?

Could anyone tell me how much this Reprogramming will cost by the dealership? I just bought an 09 with 64000 on it and thought I had a bad transmission. Good to read this might be an easy fix but how bad is the dealer gonna hit me for this service?

Read my post above you. The general consensus is they will charge for 1 hour of labor. So you're looking at around $100-$125 for the fix.

Just had the 027D reflash done on my 2010 a couple days ago. The car feels a hundred times better now. Cost was $125.

Is the 27D the latest reflash they have made? I have a 2009 G37X sedan with 7 speed auto

Also, the nearest Infiniti dealer is 100 miles away from me, can I get it done at a Nissan dealer?

Just call them up and indicate what you want - the latest transmission reflash to correct the harsh shift point. Nissan will more than likely not be able to perform the flash.

Unfortunately I did not notice any real difference with the transmission update I got a month ago. I had the transmission flushed by Infiniti last week and the car is shifting MUCH BETTER. It's still not perfect in stop and go traffic but at least it's not jerking me hard anymore giggity. I'm happy with the car again... just hope this continues to last for a while.
