Mileage has been going down since the reflash. Used to get 22.5 now I'm at 19.7. I can't really blame the reflash; I'm enjoying the way the car drives coupled with 100% use of the a/c in the car due to the hot weather.

Had my 09 reflashed at the dealer yesterday...only to get home and realize that my service receipt states that update #10-075a was applied. FML!

Shouldn't their system automatically detect and upload the most recent update? The service manager led me to believe he was aware of the new reflash and even stated he printed it out just last week.

Had my 09 updated with tsb12-027a, build date 09/09. The lag is minimized and you can feel the gears shift vs before it was a smooth acceleration. Like some already stated the rpm are little higher for a given gear and provides a positive feed back when gear shifts. One thing I notice when accelerating hard and you hit bump the rpm shoots up thus causing rough shift and unexpected lurch. Probably need more time behind the wheel to determine if I like the update.

I do agree on the M mode though. My BMW executed M mode perfectly. This G software basically won't let the shift go through under about 2,000 rpms. My former BMW started in 2nd gear in normal mode as a gas saving measure; would be nice of the G did that as well. I also agree DS should be as aggressive as can be. Oh well; maybe the next iterations of G37s will be as near perfect as possible.
I am saying by implication that paddle shifters are better than hand shifters. Hence why Formula 1, Indy and many other sports cars now exclusively use paddles. Paddles can be on auto or manual transmission cars, but presumably iif they are on an auto, you are only using them in a manual mode. Foot clutches are certainly a relic of the past.

Yes, I too am used to European cars where the manual mode is actually manual. Of course, in Europe the default assumption is that people know how to drive, which sadly is not the case in North America (where Infinitis have always been designed for).

Are you suggesting not all 2012's have the 2012 transmission programming? In all of the pages of this thread and the 10 others that deal with the same issue, I have not heard of any suggestion or evidence that early 2012's don't have the 2012 programming. Before wasting your own time asking for something that doesn't (need to) exist, you should check that first point.

Lucky for you, you can get the latest one applied on top. I cannot go back to original 2009 programming as I would now like to.

Please let us know if your dealer applies 12-027. I'm still looking for a definitive answer from an '09 person who had the new update applied on top of the old update. My dealer (and Infiniti customer service) both told me that 12-027 is the same thing if you already have 10-075a applied.

I had the original 075 on my 09 sedan and they applied 12-027a. Wonder what is the difference between 027a and regular 027.
