So i was stoped on a mean hill after some highway driving and i keeped stalling, which was really weird cuz i knew i should have made it, after that I tried to take off and noticed that i keeped stalling cuz i got some EXTREME Limp mode restricting me to 2k RPM. I pulled over right away and full throtled it and i could not pass 2k RPM. I Freaked out and decided to reboot the car and then she was all good. WTF???? This happen to anyone??? Anyone got a Clue WTF happend???

That's VERY strange indeed. Did you check your engine temp while on the highway? Are you 6MT or auto?

 

What model and year car do you have?

 

Engine temp was normal and no warning light, plus i wasn't running her hard ether, just normal highway cruzing. I got an 2008 6MT. U guys got any ideas of what caused that? Its freaken me out, but she seems to be running fine now.

 

I don't know for sure, but it might be a good idea to read the OBDII info to see if there are any codes being thrown. Is it possible a CEL was being thrown, but the light wasn't lighting up (for whatever reason)??

 

Either way, if this doesn't re-occur.. forget about it.

 

IMO; That experience is a bit hard to just forget... I'd be in the dealer tomorrow having them check the details... Something should have registered..

 

I can almost 100% assure you that the dealer will say "could not replicate problem" and send you home.

Bring it in to dealer to have it diagnosed immediately.
My buddy's G37 just hit the dealership recently.. erratic idle, CEL going off, limp mode.
Its now in the shop for 2+ weeks as its waiting for some backordered part (vvel actuator? hope this isn't a sign of things to come given the known vvel ticking/knocking issues)
