So I just purchase this device as well and I tried installing the software as it prompted me to update the software and then later... I got this msg "The vehicle has a calibration that is not currently supported. Would you like to recieve an email when it is supported for your tuner?"

Anyone has any idea? I have a 2008 G coupe S 6MT...already e-mail the tech support from Hypertech..

Give it about a week, they're pretty quick to decode and get you a calibration. Just be patient and make sure to submit a working email for them to reach you at.

Some have reported it only taking 24-48 hours. I got mine on the 3rd day. No worries.

franky2222: He wouldn't have gotten that message without having connected it to the computer and attempting to upgrade first.

What it sounds like he did is connect it to the car, it didn't work, he connected to a computer to upgrade, and at that point in time their system pulls your car information and reports back whether or not they have something compatible.

If not, it asks for your email address and gives them the information necessary to work on cracking your particular calibration.

Hm did anyone notice an MPG decrease? I've pretty much had HT tuning from the beginning so I'm not sure whether my low MPG is attributed to HT or not. My MPG is pretty much stuck between 19-20 with 70% highway..

I have, only because I drive the car harder.

But I was on the highway recently for an extended trip... I was in the mid to upper 20s.

I guess you could try returning it to stock and see if it goes back up after a little while.

Hey, All:

I know that using hypertech will remove the throttle control. But, I also see that this programmer will do other adjustment. Did anyone adjust other parameters?

I just got one and am thinking what else I can do in addition to removing the throttle control. Would somebody give a suggestion? Would somebody mind sharing what else they adjusted with the car? I have a 2010 G 4 door sedan.

Many thanks!

Hypertech can only do so much, remove throttle restriction, lower top speed and decrease rpm (who wants that?).

thank you, Legz. It seems that throttle restriction is the only thing we all look at. I just do not understand that removal of the restriction could bring the changes to the power and torque.
