Hypertech Max Energy Sport...just got it
My experience:
2009 G37x coupe
Got the Hypertech unit from The Tire Rack March 3rd. March 4th in the morning, installed the CD and did the update. Performed the vehicle install (being careful to have everything off) and got the 'cal not found' message on the display. Plugged unit back into computer and and followed the prompts, entered an email address to be advised when the update was available. This was maybe 9:30AM eastern time. Email from 'tuner update administrator' arrived in my spam box at 7:00PM that same night! Very quick. Too bad I didn't think to check my spam box until yesterday
.
Plugged unit back into computer, updated it, did the vehicle install and wow, good stuff! 0-15MPH throttle restriction being removed is very noticeable to me. IMO this isn't a mod you do for 6HP, or even the 10lb ft of torque that's available at 2450 RPM. Its the throttle restriction that you get this for...the extra power is just icing on the cake.

Hypertech
I have a 2009 G37s 7AT and got the hypertech several months ago. Really liked the throttle restriction removal and extra power. Had the battery issue one morning and had to have roadside assistance jump me off. Took it straight to the dealer and they replaced a part and the battery and reflashed the ECU.
Now I can't reflash with the hypertech because it wants to return the ECU to stock since I was not able to return the performance program to the hypertech before the work was done. Emailed hypertech about it but they are not returning my email.
On the bright side, the car is really running well with the dealer reflash.

In a situation that you don't return the vehicle to stock and the dlr updates the ecm you will have to fax us a copy of your dlr paperwork from your service/warranty visit (Fax 901-373-5290) with your contact information and your SN# from the back of the unit on the faxed in paperwork. We will call you using your contact info once the sn#(unit) is set up.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call us. The unit displays our 800 number anytime a error occurs during downloading.

Had mine updated by HyperTech in 3 working days.
And had it programmed to the car, but seriously, i don't feel much out of it. Probably because i m still new to the POWER of the G, since i come from a 200hp vehicle.. ==

Lag for me is very much minimized. I installed all the tuning options but didn't mess with rev limit.
Installed power tune/0-60 removal/raised top speed to 155 (just because I can). Until I go FI, I won't part with this thing.

WHATS INSTALLED POWER TUNE??????????I just removed the throttle restriction was i supposed to do something else???...but i still feel the lag maybe a little less but i still feel it...just to let peaple no its not COMPLETELY gone like i thought i would of been AND efuseakai is the top speed already 155? thanks

Installed power tune is the first question you'll be asked when installing it. It just smooths out the torque curve a little, and I think adjusts some A/F ratios so that you have a little more low-end torque.
