Call again and ask for Chris C or John L. They will tell you that the intake maps will be released very soon

 

Nice, that's great news. At least you've been keeping on top of it and/or had direct involvement! Do you have details as to the maps?

 

I was this close to selling mine. Any timeline on when intake maps (and for which intake?) will be released?

im going to call hypertech tomorrow and see if they will give me a date or month when the maps will be coming out and ask what intakes will have maps. ill keep you guys posted

I spoke with my R&D department and we will have our CAI kit tunes ready to release shortly after the first of the year.

What other intakes are popular? The intakes above are on our tuning schedule for Dyno time.

 

Updated mine yesterday (Saturday)... There is now a CAI option with Stillen and Takeda options. Too cold and icy around here when I went out last night to really test it, but the car still runs. Everyone with Stillen/Takeda CAI should update their tuner and reflash.

Nope. Wasn't notified. I just updated the app on my PC, and thought to myself... what the heck, I'll update the tuner also. When I went to reflash, I saw the CAI intake option. I haven't had a chance to really give the car a run just yet. But we will see...

 

Just updated my app as well and I'll see if I have the CAI option.

this might sound stupid but what if you have the injen CAI and reflashed the hypertech with either the Stillen or Takeda? would it be better then just using the hypertech w/o using the intake map?

 

If anything, give HT a call and ask them. You can always try it and reflash without the intake map if it doesn't seem right.

 

That's good news. But too bad I'm selling mine. Anyone interested, let me know.
