From: Framingham Ma,
The only thing I wish the would also change, ( Along with update for intake,Exhasut0 Is the top speed limit.. I know most of us will never hit 158 MPH but to be able to move it up to 185 MPH would be nice.. I was able to do that on my MS3 with the HT and the one time I raced my 08 G35 I was walked by a MS3 at 155 because my car stopped and he had the HT. ..

Customer service, I shot them an email 3 days ago an still got no anwser?

That's weird, they've responded to all my inquiries within ~24 hours. Unless it was the weekend.

Btw, does anyone know if I adjust the rev limit if it might help with the hesitation/lag I get when accelerating from ~22mph?

Maybe its just me, but I am able to re-create it 100% of the time. Accelerate to 30mph, let it coast down to 22-23 mph, then hit the gas. It's almost like its shifting into too high of a gear and you fall to 0 torque and nothing happens for about a second.

I thought if maybe I bumped up the rev limit by like 100-200 rpms it'd be a negligible mpg hit, but might shrink the window in which this happens? I may be mis-understanding what the rev limit actually does, I'm kind of a novice.

I don't think you can increase the rev limit with HT. You can only DECREASE it.

You are correct, you can only decrease it by 500rpm.

I'm betting the issue here is not that they can't do it, it's that they won't do it. They want this tune to be safe and not get a rep with people damaging thier engines. Not that this would actually happen if they did, they'd just be introducing risk by exceeding the spec they could be held liable for.

Yeah my bad stating rev limit can be increased. They have told me in the past that they don't feel it's safe to increase the rev limit. VVEL yadda yadda. For a canned tune though, this thing us great. Since the 7AT TSB, it's even smoother and more linear now.

wow what the heck, engine just pulled up 2 codes P0101 and P010B, and car went into limp mode, won't pass 2k rpm and shaky idle with some engine noise... guess I'm one of the unlucky ones, going to call hypertech tomorrow...

From: Framingham Ma,
I would guess this is the same for the G37 Description: 2011 INFINITI G25; VOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) REPROGRAMMING
Due to a software irregularity on certain model year 2011 G25 vehicles, the Engine Control Module (ECM) may incorrectly store a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC P0101 and/or P010B) for the Mass Air Flow Sensor and turn ON the Service Engine Soon light on the instrument panel. If DTC P0101 and/or P010B is stored in the ECM, the ECM will limit the engine power until a repair is complete. To remedy this potential condition, Infiniti is conducting this voluntary service campaign to reprogram the ECM at no charge for parts or labor.

^^ thanks for the info. Seems G25 updates are screwing with G37 baselines.

Never a problem with mine. Those error codes are an Infiniti thing by the looks of it. HT issues database updates every week. Have Infiniti fix the issue and reflash.

Hmm, every week? Does this mean every so often it would be good to flash back to stock, connect to computer and update, then reflash HT?

Or can I just connect to computer and update, and reconfigure?
