Was the car off? Try again... If anything, call them. Their tech support is great.

I was advised the error is due to "electrical interference", was told to have a/c etc all turned off, which I did... The only thing I have on is the interior lights, because I can't see jack in the garage... I'll give it another try today.

I got same error code 6E when I use it for the first time. Make sure you set ignition to "ON", not "ACC" and turn off the fan completely. This is how I get passed the problem.

Yeah. Just be sure to plug it in with the car totally off. Then when it asks you to "turn on but not crank", just hit the start button twice so the lights on the speedo etc. turn on. It took me a minute to figure that out. Good luck!

The 6E error keeps poping up, emailed hypertech and was advised they'll send me a new calibration in 2 days, we'll see how that goes...

Just got my hypertech and yep...calibration not supported too :/ I'm kind of annoyed by the fact that they list the part as compatible for the 2011 G, and yet the software can't support it

Did you already update it from the website?

If you didn't update the unit via computer, do so. If anything, the 2011s are still new and there may be an ECU model # that they have missed. Do you have a sedan/coupe/vert/x/xS? Register your email with them via the update application and they should get back to you in a few days. I would even give them a call first thing Monday to light a fire under their feet. Don't worry. It's totally worth it.

Yeah I updated using the software using the updater application. It says "the vehicle has a calibration that is not currently supported" . I left them my email asking about it. I have a 2011 sedan. I really hope they release the update soon!

I had the same issue on my 2009, there's quite a few ecu calibrations out there so it's not surprising they didn't have the exact one on your car. Shouldn't be too much of an issue for them to get a new one out.

Did you have to contact them to get the calibration for your car? Or did you just wait for them to release the update? I'm going to call them first come monday

They should hopefully get on it this upcoming week. Heck, I waited 6 months for them to update the thing for the 2010s! lol

And it was worth it!
