Hypertech Max Energy Sport...just got it
I thought I read awhile back that they had no plans for different maps or anything. I'm not sure how they'd go about it anyway, considering you just plug this thing in and go. It's not like the Cobb AP.
If you had a CBE and/or an intake, does anyone think it would generate even more power, show a null gain ( eg, stay the same ) or perhaps even be a detriment, or be harmful to the engine?
I bought another hypertech unit, and I'm thinking about a CBE, and I'm wondering how a free flowing exhaust would play with the standard Hypertech tune.

" Our tuning is compatible with a cat back exhaust on all
vehicles, no custom tuning is needed for a cat back system. Certain
vehicles do need tuning for air intake systems but not most. We offer
such for some vehicles but not the G37. If there is no ping and/or drive
ability issues when using our tuning with the intake (doubtful) then
you'd be ready to go. Thanks"
Initial impressions... VERY happy with this thing. Off the line, the engine will give you everything it's got. And I mean everything! No problem hitting red line any time you want.
You also have the option of raising the red line but I left that stock. I bumped up the speed governor to 155 which is the maximum setting. Interestingly enough, you can even have that set as low as 25. Maybe a good option of you valet a lot?
I'll give it more of a shakedown on the highway tonight and will post more impressions.
BTW, no issues with my setup. HFC/CBE and R2c intakes.

Ok... some more shakedown time... all I really have to say is that this thing could get me pulled over easily... lol
Speed limit comes up a lot quicker than before. I likey! This is the perfect choice for anyone that doesn't want to spend the $ on a custom tune/doesn't have a tuner near them/wants to easily go back to stock for whatever reason.
From a stop, our cars really are quite awesome with the throttle restriction removed!

Glad they finally released the 2010 for you guys, I know a bunch of you have been waiting very patiently! I agree the throttle response is mucho improved and makes it very fun to drive daily.
BTW, if you goto www.hypertech.com the first flash image shows an ad saying the programmer is available for 2010-2011 G37/370Z now.

That's great Efuse - thumbs up, makes it a blast to drive. I just put 245 18s on the back, and I still spin out like a mo fo from a dig - my neighborhood is covered with one-tire-fire remnants.
