Can you buy the Hypermax now and just wait for the updates or just wait until the map are included for 2010 G37 in the unit?

Thanks,
Ron

Any ETA on when the intake maps would be released?

Sounds good to me... Just got that follow-up email as well and my unit successfully updated with the new 2010 calibration. Prob won't get out to test it till the weekend, but will give my feedback ASAP.

* UPDATE 10/3/10 - Still doesn't work, getting "cal not found" message.. emailed Kenny once again *

So it looks like 0-60 throttle restriction is the main benefit of this unit at this point. Is this where the 6 HP / 10 torque gains come from?

I read that a bone stock engine can see about 12-15 HP gains with a CAI intake such as Injen or Stillen G3... how will the Hypertech work in conjuction with CAI prior to Hypertech releasing the long awaited Intake map?

I'd bet this does have fuel and ignition table maps for the stock intake which with stock tune runs rich and thus leaning out is where the gains are coming from. As long as you use an intake that doesn't modify AFR drastically from stock like R2C or probably any intake that doesn't use cotton guaze filters I'm betting it would be close and a noticable improvement. It's too bad this doesn't have basic OBDII reporting to confirm AFR but then you can pick that up elseware or get a dyno/w AFR to confirm.

So the 0-60 restriction is the only tweak you guys are using for your 2010 models? Just want to make sure I have all the info needed when my unit arrives and the maps are released.
