Question Possible Transmission Glitch

After driving my G37 Coupe for almost two years now I’m finally noticing something that may be a problem. When I come to a stop in drive there’s a slight jerk as the car comes to a complete stop. It hadn’t done this before. Has anyone else experienced this and if so what could be the problem, if any?

I think you're talking about the TSB discussed in this thread

https://www.myg37.com/forums/tsb-tec...g-braking.html

There is a TSB for this that you can print out located in post #14 of the thread. Go ahead and take it to your dealer and say "fix it"

Thanks for your help. Yes, I have the classic symptoms and my G was built before December 2007 as described in the TSB. I’ll take it to the dealer ASAP.

I use DS mode quite often going down a steep hill near my house. I hope that’s not going to make the problem come back after the fix.

No problem

DS mode down a hill huh? Sweet Looks like we have a 70 year old drifter on our hands here

I haven't heard of it returning after using DS mode though.

I’m just trying to save a bit of wear on my brakes. Isn’t that what most older drivers do?

Not much. I continue to check the LA Times obituary column each morning. If I’m not listed I shave.

You shave then drive on down to Marie Callender's to meet up with your friends for breakfast at 6 am

Yes, we all meet and have a breakfast of prune juice, soft-boiled eggs, and warm milk washed down with Geritol. Of course, everyone drives up in a Buick except me.
