I remember seeing reviews about how people like the 5AT more than the 6AT in the Audi TT because it's more fun. Maybe that situation would be the same here?

You wouldn't unless your an idiot, i see your sig says you're 17...if my parents had bought my a new G37 (or any new car for that matter) when I was 17 I'd be ecstatic. I'm 20 and paying for my G35 myself, so congrats and who cares if its an AT, you can get a MT later on.

Nothing against AT's but I would never buy a sport's car without a MT: just more fun to drive IMO.

I do...

Small a.ss trunk
Very small back seats
330HP
Available in a short shift 6MT
Very low seating position ( like a Z )
RWD
19inch wheels with low profile tires
Big ol brakes
Character enhanced exhaust note...

Id consider it a sports car....with luxury amenities...

You hear the term "Sports Coupe" being thrown around...what is a coupe? Its a 2-door car. Replace the word coupe for car... what do you get? Sports Car.

On another note, 6 Speed all the way.... , the way the car is meant to be driven

I consider a sports car mainly about performance and little compromise for luxury amenities. I think the G37 would be quite different performance-wise if all the lux amenities were removed to bring down the weight, so the G37 is more in the sport lux segment rather than pure sports.

^^ Agreed, take off 750 pounds and whoa! Cayman S = 2,954 lbs.

Some people think all sporty cars are sports cars. I thought the G coupe was really a GT car?

So does a G37 hybrid sound feasible? Boy would I love to save that money on gas, especially with gas prices on the rise...again...
