I called local uPRev dealer today and said they have it ready for the G37. Was quoted with dynos $550.00. Getting my car scheduled in next 2 Fridays from now to go up and get this done. Word is this is an awesome tune!

Here is Sams great review: https://www.myg37.com/forums/engine-...ith-uprev.html

There's 3 in Houston. The only one I know anything about is JTran. He's now located where SGP Performance used to be before they went out of business. He has a great reputation in the G community here. He did a TT on one of our StrictlyGz members G35. It's a beast.

Don't know squat about the others.

Im getting tuned tomorrow at HP logic here in South Florida. These guys are unreal and have done some amazing work. They did a G37 yesterday 17 HP to the wheels on a very very conservative Dyno. Im getting tuned tomorrow. Only mods are Berk HFC's...

We shall see, price is right $550.00 that includes dyno baseline and after the tune.

Awesome man! Post up that dyno! That's the place I called and am going to is Horsepower Logic.
Good to hear they have experience too! I can't wait!
I just got my HFC installed just now today, and man they sound awesome on the stock exhaust.

I found out of course the flash on ECU is a void on warranty but that can be restored to factory before hand if you know what I mean. I need a litte more details onthis since I would hate for the dealer to see that.

Hp Logic is the best. They work on GTR's all the time, I have known them for years. In Fact those guys were one of the first to TT a 370z and way back the 350z. They have done everyone I know and they are 100% reliable.

I wouldnt worry about warranty can always find ways around that..
Im going there tomorrow around 11

I don't have high-flow cats, test-pipes or headers since I don't want to touch any sensors...but I'm eager to see what gains I can squeeze with high-flow air-filters, and a Fujitsubo w/Ichiba cat-back on California's suck@5s 91 Octane

My local Uprev tuner is EIPracing in San Jose CA...the only one in the area. I'll be calling them today.

Sam, can switch to stock map when you take it in? Any idea when Cam adjustments will be available. I am thinking about going to GTM, but they charge $800.

Just spoke to EIPRacing Milpitas... They come highly rated in the area and have worked on numerous 370Zs and G37s. they'll setup multiple maps on the ECU...appointment set for Feb 10th!

I was told that I'll see some good gains even with my setup....and that the trick is to reduce the AFR and play with timing based on readings from my stock setup.

Aparently our engines run quite lean at about 13.9 even without intakes that causes high EGT that causes ECUs to retard timings consistently as a result of running hot ....Hell, I'd get a tune even if I didn't have any mods

As for VVEL, I'm guessing that it is a mind of it's own and works on it's own to feed the engine to it's best of abilities...we may not even have to mess with it and all it's moving parts. We have a pretty flat torque-curve which responds very well to all mods and tunes for an NA setup at least...well lets see!
